Our Production Plants
Plant Z01 Rajec-Jestrebi

The production plant was originally used as a brickyard. Brickyard operations began in 1908. In 1911, an initiative was made to convert the brickyard into the production of refractory products, both shaped and unshaped. At present, the plant manufactures refractory products intended for the foundry industry (ceramic gating systems for castings, ladle closing systems) and the construction industry (stove-making).

Plant Z02 Rajec-Jestrebi

The production plant was commissioned in 1978 with the aim of ensuring the production of unshaped refractory products intended primarily for iron production in blast furnace operations (taphole clays and ramming mixes). Over time, legislative requirements to enhance environmental protection and human health led to the launch of an ecological production program, and therefore all refractory materials produced today meet the strictest environmental standards.

Plant Z03 Ostrava

The history of production at this plant dates back to 1831 as part of the former Rudolf Ironworks and later the Vítkovice Ironworks. At that time, the production of refractory materials was intended solely for the in-house consumption of the ironworks. Today, production is focused primarily on the steel industry (hollowares for ingot teeming) and the foundry industry (ceramic gating systems for castings, ladle closing systems).
